Macksville Show Results - BRAG COVERED IN GLORY

Firstly, let me say thank you to all the BRAG members that entered the show. Secondly let me say congratulations to all the BRAG members that won with or sold their artworks.

Art Exhibition at Macksville Show
The Art Competition at the Macksville Show was again a successful event with nearly 100 entries and just as important were the many 100's of visitors who viewed the works and voted for their popular painting.
Judging was carried out on Thursday ahead of the show starting on Friday. The Grand Champion was an organic sculpture piece called "Little Chick " by Letitia Hardman
Each section had an individual winner as follows: -
Section 1 1st Out Mudgee Way by Elwin Butler, 2nd Mutton Bird by Natalee Selwood, Highly Commended Colourful Drawing by Paul Gibson.
Section 2 1st Lionesses by Edward Barnes, 2nd Playing in the Daisies by Carmel Mott, Highly Commended McDuffy Tree by Julie Townend.          
Section 3 1st Pool Insects by Elwin Butler, 2nd The Artists Hand by Sonny Stewart, Highly Commended Flow by Lorraine Pullen.      
Section 4 1st Backyard by Karen Fenning, 2nd Thelma & Louise by Carmel Mott
As usual the voting for Popular Choice resulted in many paintings being nominated with the worthy winner being "Rough Riding" by Faye Mathew

There were three paintings sold, all being BRAG artists.

"Wrens Peeping" by Faye Mathew

Grand Champion "Little Chick" by Letifa Hardman
1st in  Section 1 Landscape/Seascape "Out Mudgee Way" by Elwin Butler
1st  in Section 2 Flora/Fauna "Lionesses" by Edward Barnes

1st   Section 3 Open "Pool Insects" by Elwin Butler



1st  Section 4 Small Painting "Backyard" by Karen Fenning
