Exhibition Review - The Lume

A recent visit to Melbourne included a stop at the Lume, South Dock Area, which is part of the Convention Centre Area.

The feature was and still is Vincent Van Gough. A very large space is filled with images of his work on the walls and floors for an immersive experience that was constantly changing. There was exotic music playing and background stories on large, suspended screens.

People tended to hang around for hours. You could lounge on bean bags, enjoy the infinity room, a virtual reality room with goggles or just enjoy a coffee at the cafe (still within the exhibition space). There was even a learn to draw like Van Gough in 2 minutes studio for the kids.

Have a look on-line.
