2025 Macksville Show Art Exhibition

Report by Bruce Redman

The Macksville Show is over for another year and that includes the Art Exhibition. This year the artworks on display were once again of a high standard. Many people commented on the colour, varied subject matter, quality and the presentation. The exhibitors have every reason to be proud of their works.

A lot of the organising and manning of the exhibition was undertaken by the Bowraville Racecourse Art Group (BRAG). In particular acknowledgement goes to Elwin Butler who spent many hours before, during and even after the show. Thanks also to the sponsors Trimbles Furniture One, Tursa, Fortade and BRAG

The voting for People's Choice was very popular with hundreds of votes lodged. It was a close finish with the work of three artists work neck and neck right up to the last minute.
