2022 Movember in July Art Exhibition

Thursday 7th July to Sunday 17th July 2022

The Macleay Valley Community Art Gallery held an art exhibition called Movember in July. The exhibition is on display at the gallery in Gladstone. It is a non competitive event designed to raise funds to help address the issues of men’s health. In keeping with the theme it is only open to men.

This year two members of the Bowraville Racecourse Art Group submitted paintings. Both Elwin Butler and Bruce Redman made available three paintings each.

All entry fees will be donated to the Movember Foundation.

Exhibition terms and conditions: 

  • All work must be the original work of the artist.

  • All artwork must be presented ready for hanging on the galleries hanging system, D-rings 75mm from the top of larger works or 35mm from the top of smaller works.

  • All entries are accepted and displayed at the owner’s risk.

  • Maximum size of art work is 1.2m x 1.2m, including frame. This is to allow for maximum entries.

  • Commission on all sales will be applied at 17.5% (our normal rate).

  • Labels must be attached to the back of each work showing Artist’s name, Price and Title.

  • Preferred payment of Entry fee is by EFT to MVCAG account at Coastline Credit Union BSB 704-189, Account No. 11008820 – Reference Movember and your Surname or it may be paid on the day work is delivered to the gallery. Please make sure you have correct account details before transferring

  • Please provide photos of your work by email, if you are able, for Publicity purposes.
